Cheers! Word on the grapevine is that BRICS members could start a winemakers’ union

Russian winemakers may propose the creation of a BRICS wine union, according to Boris Titov, the Russian President’s special envoy for relations with international organisations, speaking at the Russian Wine Forum.

He highlighted the shifting dynamics of global wine markets, with China and Russia emerging as some of the largest. In this context, Titov suggested the possibility of establishing a new geopolitical institution to address these changes.
