Orban says BRICS summit a significant gathering of the Eastern world’s powerful economies

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban described the BRICS summit in Kazan as a significant gathering of the Eastern world’s powerful economies.

Orban said the economic strength of BRICS nations shaped the global landscape outside of Western influence.

The BRICS Summit, held from October 22-24 in Kazan, focused on bolstering multilateral cooperation, integrating new members into the bloc, and addressing key regional challenges. “A major summit of the Eastern world is underway in Kazan, where BRICS leaders, not from the West but powerful economically, are meeting. This is a summit of the Eastern world,” Orban said during an interview with a Hungarian broadcaster.
