Thirty countries have confirmed their participation in the BRICS summit later this month in Russia, AfricaNews.com reports.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov told journalists the inclusion of new member countries may be considered.
He also mentioned that the situation in Ukraine could be part of the October summit’s discussions, stating, “Russia has always been and remains open to a political and diplomatic solution to the conflict.”
