Zimbabwe is actively working to secure a spot in BRICS, according to Foreign Affairs and International Trade Minister Amon Murwira following his visit to Moscow.
In an interview with ZBC TV, Murwira said Zimbabwe was committed to engaging with global economic groups like BRICS to drive growth, investment, and development.
“According to our constitution, we must not only be Pan-African, but also join progressive groups that are good for the socioeconomic growth of our country and for promoting peace in the world and normally, peace is fostered through economic development,” Murwira said.
