Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that Western sanctions against BRICS nations for developing alternative payment platforms would violate all WTO norms, TASS reports.
This comes after U.S. President Donald Trump warned that he would impose 100% tariffs on imports from BRICS countries if they pursued their own currency or moved away from the U.S. dollar.
