Libya’s Government of National Stability is actively considering joining BRICS, according to Sputnik.
Abdul Hadi Al-Hweij, the interim government’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, told the agency: “BRICS is a significant economic bloc… I personally support Libya’s membership in BRICS. We are evaluating this move as part of our broader strategy to strengthen economic ties with developing nations and achieve sustainable economic development.”
