South African Delegation Participates in BRICS Young Scientists’ Forum (YSF) in Brazil

A delegation of nine young South African scientists represented the nation at the 10th BRICS Young Scientists’ Forum (YSF), taking place in Brasilia, Brazil, from 15 to 17 September 2025. The delegates were selected through the Department of Science, Technology and Innovation (DSTI) and the Academy of Science of South Africa (ASSAf) from a highly competitive field of 256 applications submitted by over 46 institutions across South Africa.
