Lula invites Mexico, Colombia, and Uruguay to BRICS Summit

Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has invited Mexico, Colombia, and Uruguay to participate in the upcoming BRICS summit in July in Rio de Janeiro.

Lula stressed the need to expand participation in the dialogue to reinforce multilateralism and enhance global trade. He extended the invitation during his visit to Montevideo for the inauguration of Uruguayan President Yamandú Orsi. The summit seeks to solidify economic and political strategies while positioning South America as a key player in global alliances.
