Turkey’s interest in joining BRICS is mainly driven by economic factors and does not impact its support for Ukraine, according to Ukrainian Ambassador to Turkey Vasyl Bodnar in an interview with Ukrinform.
Bodnar explained, “Turkey’s engagement with BRICS is motivated by economic goals, such as seeking new markets for its products, securing investment resources, and attracting Chinese companies to its domestic market. The important point is that this process does not alter Turkey’s support for Ukraine.”
