Thirteen partner countries join the BRICS family

In October, BRICS convened a summit in Kazan, Russia, where it welcomed 13 new “partner nations” following the addition of four new members.

The countries are: Algeria, Belarus, Bolivia, Cuba, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Nigeria, Thailand, Turkey, Uganda, Uzbekistan and Vietnam.
