Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is set to attend the upcoming BRICS Summit in Kazan, Russia, marking an important diplomatic engagement for the country.
Deputy Foreign Minister Mnatsakan Safaryan was the first to announce on Wednesday that Armenia will participate in the BRICS summit scheduled for October 22-24. Nazeli Baghdasaryan, press secretary to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, later confirmed to RFE/RL’s Armenian Service that the prime minister will represent Armenia at the event.
