Iran wants BRICS to intervene in Gaza crisis

Iran’s Assistant Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri has called upon BRICS to intervene and halt Israel’s crimes in Gaza. Bagheri urged BRICS nations to exert political will to cease attacks, send humanitarian aid, and support South Africa’s legal action against Israel at the International Court of Justice.

He emphasised Gaza’s resilience against Israeli aggression and asserted that stability in the region hinges on stopping these crimes. Bagheri’s plea came during a meeting of BRICS assistant foreign ministers in Moscow. He underscored the historical significance of nations taking action to resolve the crisis.
