Nicolas Maduro, the President of Venezuela, has announced that Venezuela is on track to become a member of BRICS in the near future.
In a recent statement, President Maduro emphasised the shift away from the old colonial paradigm characterised by wars, interventions, and a sense of superiority.
Speaking on the Venezolana de Television TV channel, Maduro underscored the unstoppable trend towards the emergence of a new world order and the strengthening of BRICS, affirming Venezuela’s imminent inclusion in BRICS.
“The trend of the emergence of a new world and the consolidation of BRICS is irreversible, and Venezuela will soon be part of BRICS,” Maduro said.
