Algeria has been approved to join the BRICS New Development Bank (NDB), according to the bank’s president, Dilma Rousseff, Reuters reports.
Speaking on Saturday, Rousseff stated, “We have a process for authorizing new members to the bank… Algeria has been authorised to join.”
She made this announcement to journalists during the ninth annual meeting of the bank in Cape Town.
