The 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi under India’s “non-Western, but not anti-West” chairship expanded the platform’s weight, with 11 full members and 10 partners representing roughly half the world’s population and about 45 percent of global GDP at PPP, while inviting ASEAN and other regional bodies to amplify Global South priorities on technology, supply chains and inclusive growth.
