Palestinian Ambassador to Russia, Abdel Hafiz Nofal, has lauded the BRICS countries for their efforts to create a new global order, TASS reports.
Speaking on the sidelines of the BRICS International Financial and Economic Forum, Nofal commended the event’s organisation, stating, “BRICS is the first step towards a new world. We are confident about the future. We believe that any new international system is better than what we have now.”
The ambassador stressed that this emerging system will not be based on a divisive principle. “We want it to be fair,” he emphasised. Nofal said such a system would benefit both Russian and Palestinian peoples. “We are confident in the future as well as in BRICS. This is the first step toward a new international order,” he reiterated.
The BRICS International Financial and Economic Forum, held on May 27-28, brought together representatives from over 10 countries to discuss the creation of independent financial instruments within the association and the development of businesses amidst global transformation.
The event was organized by the International Organisation for Cooperation and Trade, the International Global Monitoring Aerospace System, the Let’s Do Good platform, and the Unscripted investment club.
